The Women’s Journey chemical dependency treatment program of the YWCA offers residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment services for women. Treatment options include detoxification, group and individual counseling, residential treatment for up to 60 days, transitional housing for up to two years, and aftercare support, as well as regular day and evening care for children of women in the program.

Residential Treatment Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
