Since 1964, the Heartview foundation has treated more than 24,000 clients and families from all over the U.S. and Canada. Based in Bismark, the facility is one of the most trusted drug and alcohol treatment centers in the state of North Dakota. The substance abuse rehab takes a holistic approach to treatment and offers individualized care, as well as a staff trained in a variety of disciplines. Heartview offers a full continuum of care, including detox, residential and outpatient services, as well as community education courses and seminars.

Executive Director
Kurt has been the Executive Director at Heartview Foundation since January 2005. In addition to holding a Master’s in Management, Kurt is also a Licensed Social Worker and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. Kurt works under the Board of Directors in providing financial, clinical, personnel, and technical oversight for Heartview. He is active in many state and national organizations related to addiction treatment, bringing cutting edge knowledge to the Heartview staff and opportunities for input in many addiction treatment arenas.
