Comprehensive evidence-based, personalized care provided in a safe, compassionate setting - We provide care that is respectful of and responsive to individual patient preferences, needs, and values, and ensure that those values guide all clinical decisions. This kind of care supports active involvement of patients and their families in the design of their program and in the decision-making about their individual treatment options.
- Individualized Evidence-based Treatment
Individualized Evidence-based Treatment We believe an Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) is essential. It affords the patient the best possible care based on their personal needs, An ITP takes into consideration personal goals, life situation, age, lifestyle, family circumstances, medical conditions, type of drug, belief systems, background, education, trauma, etc. - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)EMDR is a highly specific, research-validated form of therapy that can help people overcome traumatic stress, anxiety and depression. With EMDR, a trained practitioner uses bilateral stimulation, eye movement and touch to stimulate parts of the brain as a patient recounts certain experiences and memories as a way to more thoroughly process uncomfortable, painful feelings.

Dr. Terry Sellers
M.D. Addictionologist
Dr. Terry L. Sellers believes he is a lucky man. He spends his days surrounded by people he loves, working in a profession which creates passion and energy for him. Through his experience, education, and life lessons he is now able to work in the addiction field as a board certified addiction medicine physician. To Dr. Sellers, this means he is able to give back to others the hope and freedom that was given to him over ten years ago when he was struggling with his own opiate addiction. Dr. Sellers grew up in Clearwater, Florida. He received his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed an OB/GYN residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Sellers practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology in Provo, UT for 12 years, delivering over 6,000 babies. Years of migraine headaches sparked his addiction to pain medications. He spent many years suffering with a desire to stop using opiates and the inability to do so. He ultimately decided to get help using substance abuse treatment and gave up his lifestyle of being a solo obstetrician. He now has 10 years of recovery from drug addiction and is rigorously active in the recovery community. Living a recovery lifestyle for the past decade has created a new perspective on life and what is important to him.
